There's a gondola outside my window!

Yes, you read it right-There's a gondola outside my window.  But, I'm not talking about the Venetian gondola with a singing gondolier.  They're construction workers cleaning and repainting our building facade.  They've been around for almost 2 months now and I've sort of gotten used to it.  At first, I was a bit paranoid.  Can you imagine people outside your window who can directly see what's going on in your household?  I even have to close the blinds in our bathroom to make sure its really private!  What's really bothersome is the smell of paint and thinner.  It permeates in the house even if all the windows are shut.
But of course, I see how this inconvenience is really part of something that will benefit us. We've been living in this condo for around 10 years and its the first time we're having some repainting done.  The facade has really brightened up and it looks aesthetically better.  Its like a makeover with a "before and after" difference.
Next year, we might have to change some wallpapers in the house and have some repainting done, too.  Hay! Will be forced to do some general cleaning!
